Clean, Imported Soil
We are committed to growing safe, healthy produce for our community. To ensure we are doing just that, we do not grow in the city’s soil. Instead, we’ve imported over 600 yards of new, clean soil, to cover every square inch of our farm that your vegetables are grown in. Below our imported soil, we’ve laid down a geo-textile barrier, which keeps any potential contaminants from reaching our crops. We grow seasonally, and use specialized tools and techniques to mitigate pest and disease on our farm, without the use of harmful pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides.
A wonderful place to visit for fresh farm produce plus the most incredible tomato soup with an equally delicious cheese sandwich, you need to try this to believe this….incredible. The staff/owners and the people we met were so friendly.
